Inclusion 2025: Where Are We Now? - Cathy Gallagher-Louisy , Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion
Cathy Gallagher-Louisy is Senior Director, Consulting for the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI). She leads CCDI’s cultural competence consulting portfolio and provides a range of leadership development, strategy development and change management consulting and training services within public and private sector organizations and academic institutions. Previously, as CCDI’s Director, Knowledge Services, Cathy led CCDI’s research and knowledge services portfolio for four years. She is the author of CCDI’s five toolkits for diversity and inclusion practitioners, and she has written or co-written 18 major research and benchmarking reports on diversity and inclusion and/or corporate social responsibility. In the past five years, she has had 33 publications, and her work has appeared in multiple trade magazines including HR Professional in Ontario, PeopleTalk in BC, HR UpDate in Ottawa, HUMANCapital in Alberta, HR Saskatchewan, Municipal World, Supply Chain Canada, and the UK’s Equal Opportunities Review. Prior to joining CCDI, one of Cathy’s key roles was leading and operationalizing diversity and inclusion and corporate social responsibility initiatives in Canada for the global Human Resources firm Hewitt Associates.
